Without the support of your friends, family, workmates and community you can not reach your fundraising goal. So it's not only nice but important to keep your supporters updated.
When you create an update it will be sent to :
All your donors and
All your followers (those that have clicked this button on your Fundraising Page)
To create an update
1. Login to your mycause account.
Select the link UPDATE - 'Post an update' under your campaign
2. Upload a photo and write your message. The photo is really important as it will appear on your Fundraising Page.
3. Post to your Fundraising Page by selecting the big green button and then share on social media if possible.
Your supporters will receive an email that looks like this. They will view the update on your Fundraising Page when they select the button "view the update".
If you have made a mistake in your update and you would like to edit it, you can do so by clicking on the "updates" tab below the text on your Fundraising Page, and then the edit icon next to the update you want to change.
This will open a pop up editor where you can change out any images, and fix any text needed. Always make sure to click the 'save' button before closing the pop up.
