During or after your fundraising campaign it is nice if you consider thanking your donors
There are multiple ways to thank your donors!
DURING YOUR CAMPAIGN - DIRECT ON YOUR PAGE
During your campaign while you are logged in you can write a message to your donor and post an emoji too.
Select the share arrow to send the message via What's App, messenger or email
Also click the emoji icon to add an emoji to your doors message and donation
DURING & AFTER - THANK DONORS BY EMAIL
mycause has built a comprehensive thank donors portal.
Go to your mycause account.
Find your Fundraising page. It is either on your Dashboard or at "Closed Campaigns"
Click the 'Thank donors & Reports' button next to your campaign image
Or if you are on your Fundraising page, click on 'Thank donors' in the drop down menu.
From there, you will be taken to the donors screen, where you can download your memento, certificate, or donation reports using the buttons along the top, and send Thank You emails to your donors below.
To send the Thank You emails, first decide to whom you are sending the message by choosing between 'Select donors', 'Send to all', or 'Send to not yet thanked'.
Choosing 'Select donors' will open a pop up with your donors listed with checkboxes. Tick the checkboxes next to the donors you wish to thank, then click 'Confirm' at the bottom right of the pop up.
Once you have chosen who will receive the Thank You email, you can update the text in both the email subject and message, and then click the 'Send' button at the bottom left of the screen.
During your campaign, you can also post updates to your page that are sent by email to your donors and followers. Learn more about UPDATES here
