Uploading, customising, and managing Gift Cards is a straightforward and easy process, and having your own Gift Card designs creates a more personalised experience for your donors.
To upload and manage your Gift Cards start by logging in to your Partner Dashboard, and then going to 'Gift Cards' in the left hand menu of the dashboard.
Here you can manage your Gift Card settings, upload new Gift Card designs, and view your Gift Card sale information.
In the top right corner of the Gift Card section you can see buttons to view your Gift Card page as donors see it, and copy the link to the page for pasting in communications, social media posts, etc...
Below this are your Gift Card Settings.
MANAGE GIFT CARD SETTINGS
The Gift Card Settings are made up of four cards with different settings.

Donation settings You can have up to four dollar amount suggestions, and you can choose to make one the default amount. You can also decide to allow donors to choose their own amount using the 'Allow open field selection' setting. |

Categories (filter) for display Choose which category of cards you want donors to choose from at any time. These can be changed as needed, so for instance you might only have 'Mother's Day' ticked leading up to May. |

|
Set up default text for your cards This is the text that will appear when donors start to create their card. Donors can change this text but having default text about your charity can help. (Note this text applies to all cards. You can override it per card if you wish) |

Other settings Choose whether donors can send a card (with one donation) to multiple recipients or not, and whether you want to display the mycause card design options for donors to choose from. |
UPLOAD CUSTOM GIFT CARD DESIGNS
Below the Gift Card Settings is another card with a button to 'Upload custom Gift Card designs'. Click the button to open the uploader.
The Gift Card uploader screen contains a few fields that need to be filled out in order to create your custom Gift Card design.
1. Gift Card name: This is internal to you and helps you distinguish between your cards.
2. Upload an image: This is the design that your donors will see and be able to select when sending a Gift Card. For best results, your image should be 1280x720px PNG or JPEG. Upload the image by using the orange button and remember to click the grey 'save' button that appears below your image.
3. Choose the category (filter): This establishes which category your new Gift Card belongs in, so the card can be chosen when you choose the categories to display in the Gift Card Settings (see above).
4. Text box: This is where you write the default text that will appear when this Gift Card is selected. The donor can choose to override this text when they send their card. If you do not enter text here, the same default text from the Gift Card Settings (see above) will be used.
When all the fields have been completed, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the screen, then the grey cross in the top right corner.
MANAGE CUSTOM GIFT CARD DESIGNS
Once you have uploaded your designs you will see them listed below the upload button.
Here you can see
- when each Gift Card was created
- how many of that design have been purchased
- the internal name you gave the Gift Card
- a thumbnail of the design
- which categories it displays in
- the current status of the card
Next to each Gift Card design there is also an 'Actions' button.
The 'Actions' button allows you to manage your custom Gift Card designs with options to;
