Displaying the total amount raised for your event can show your supporters their progress and encourage them to fundraise more toward the goal!
To display the amount raised, open the Event website editor on the Event Dashboard, select 'Design Components' on the left hand menu, and then 'Fundraise'.
Click and drag the 'Amount raised' block into your event template, and then click on the displaying amount to open the Component Settings on the left hand side.

In the Component Settings, you can change the layout style, update the colours and fonts, and nominate what data adds to the Total Amount Raised display.
Data setting: If no tick boxes are selected for the data, the Amount Raised will include
- Online donations
- Offline donations
- Registration fees that are "donation" type (that appear on Fundraising Pages as donations)
The data selected will add the following amounts:
| Registration - non donation | Registration fees marked as a non-donation (that do not show on the Fundraising Pages) in the event registration settings |
| Merchandise (donation) - registration flow |
Merchandise marked as a donation, sold through the registration flow (purchased during the sign up process) For example wrist bands, raffle tickets, talk passes or other virtual products |
| Merchandise (donation) - store |
Merchandise marked as a donation, sold through the event page (purchased separately from the sign up process) For example wrist bands, raffle tickets, talk passes or other virtual products |
| Merchandise (non-donation) - registration & store |
Merchandise marked as a non-donation (not tax deductible), sold either during registration, or the event page For example water bottles, t-shirts or meal vouchers |
Selecting any of the tick boxes will add the associated amounts to the Total Amount Raised display in real time.
So for example, if you have $10,000 in donations to fundraising pages, and you have sold $5,000 worth of donation-type merchandise in the registration flow, you can select the tick box marked "Merchandise (donation) - registration flow" to display a Total Amount Raised of $15,000
