When you run an annual event, and you want the events to look similar year on year, you can clone your event template (the way the event looks) from one year's event to the next.
There are two ways to do this, either during the event setup process, or at any time after you have gone through the event setup flow.
To clone your event during the event setup process, go through and create your event settings as normal, and when you reach the 'Select template' screen, click on the 'Clone template' button in the top right corner instead of choosing any of the template thumbnails below.
When you click the 'Clone template' button, you will see a pop up that has your past four events on the left hand side. Select the event you wish to clone, and type "CLONE" then confirm that you would like to use that event as a template.
Once your cloned template is in the template editor, you can edit it as you wish, making sure to update any text or imagery that is year specific.
If you have completed the setup process and forgot to clone your event template, or needed to check which event to use as a template, you can clone an event template at any time by managing your new event (the one you want to copy the template into) and clicking 'Event website editor' in the left hand menu.
This will open your template editor with the wrong template. Click 'Change template' in the top left corner to open the template picker.
Then, click the 'Clone template' button in the top right corner, and follow the pop up instructions above.
