Whenever you create an event on mycause we provide your page with a unique URL.
If you want to keep the same event URL that you had for last years event you will need to:
- Change last years event URL to another URL. You can just add the year at the end of the URL (e.g. /annualfunrun2025).
- Then change the URL of this year's event to the URL you want.
To edit the URLs for your events (making sure to change the old event first) log in to your Partner Dashboard and go to 'Events' in the left hand menu, then click the 'Manage' button to the right of the relevant event (you may have to scroll down to your inactive events).
On your Event Dashboard, click on 'Event details' and edit the Event URL field. You can either change the URL completely, or just add the year to the end of the existing URL as mentioned above.
The URL cannot have spaces or special characters, only letters and numbers.
Once you have edited the Event URL field, make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the Event details screen and click the 'Save' button.
