If a donor has accidentally donated to the wrong fundraiser, or forgotten to allocate a team member when making a donation, you are able to move their donation to the correct person or page.
The settings to move the donations can be found in your Partner Dashboard (not the Event Dashboard)
HOW TO MOVE A DONATION
First log in to your Partner Dashboard then choose "Donations & Transactions" from the left hand menu. You will see a list of all donations made to your entity.
You can use the search function to find the donation you are moving using the donor's name, or you can filter by 'Events' and scroll to find the donation.
Once you have found the donation you're moving, click the "actions" button, and choose "Move donation" from the drop down menu.
This will bring up the settings to move the donation. Please note that you can only move the donation within the event stated next to 'Event name'.
Search for another fundraising page within the event using the fundraiser's (person) name, page ID number, or the title of the page.
OR, if you are allocating the donation to a team member, click 'Select member' and choose the team member from the drop-down menu. (If the page is not a team page, the 'Select member' option will not appear.)
Once you have chosen the page or team member to move the donation to, the "Confirm moving donation" button will turn orange (clickable). Make sure to click the button to ensure the donation gets moved.
