When viewing your Donations & Transactions in your Partner Dashboard, you will see a column titled 'Email status' which shows whether a transaction email is Delivered or Bounced.
As mycause automatically receipts your donors on your behalf, the system knows when the receipt email has been successfully delivered to your donor, or if the receipt email has 'Bounced' - meaning the email did NOT arrive in the donor's email inbox.
If a donor's email has Bounced, you can click the 'manage' button next to their transaction to see their phone number, which you can use to get in touch and ask for an updated email address.
Once you have the correct email address, you can;
- Click the 'Print receipt' button and manually email the PDF to the donor, and
- Contact mycause and provide us with the correct email address so we can fix it in our system.
