Sometimes a donor may get in touch to update the name that appears on their donation or receipt, or they may simply need you to re-send them their receipt. These things can all be managed from your Partner Dashboard.
Re-issuing receipts:
Log in to your Partner Dashboard and navigate to 'Donations & Transactions' in the left hand menu. Search for the donor who wants their receipt re-sent using their name, email address, or receipt number.
Select 'actions' next to the donation, and click 'Print receipt' to download the PDF version of their receipt.
You can then email the PDF to the donor.
Changing receipt details:
Changing the receipt name is a bit different whether the donation was made through a campaign managed by the organisation, or a normal donation to a community page, directly to the organisation, or through an event.
For normal donations:
To change the name that appears on a donor's receipt, log in to your Partner Dashboard and navigate to 'Donations & Transactions' in the left hand menu.
Search either under the donor's name, receipt number, or email address.
Click 'actions' next to the donor's name, and choose 'View transaction' from the drop down.
Next, update the name in the text box next to 'Receipt name', click 'save', and then re-issue the receipt using the instructions above.
For campaign donations:
Apart from the receipt name, when a donation is made to a campaign you can also edit the donor name and donor message.
To edit the details of a donation made to a campaign managed by your organisation, go to 'Campaigns & Appeals' in the left hand menu of your Partner Dashboard and click the 'manage' button next to the campaign in which the donation was made. In the new tab that opens, you will see a transaction list.
Search for the donation you wish to update using the donor's name, email address, or receipt number, then click the edit icon in the 'Actions' column.
Edit the relevant details in the text boxes and save the transaction.
Go back to the main Partner Dashboard to re-issue the receipt.
Note: You are NEVER able to edit or change a donor's email address or phone number. If a donor has been in touch to change those details, please raise a ticket via our helpdesk and reference the receipt number, donor details, and changes required and our team will update the transaction for you.
